February 10: UGA Carl Vinson Institute of Government and GPA planning & zoning training 201 at the Gwinnett Campus of UGA. Registration $155 for all day training. April 19: Georgia Planning Association (GPA) Spring 2017 conference in Woodstock. More info to come at the GPA website www.georgiaplanning.org

February 8-9, 2018: GAZA Winter conference at Georgia Veterans State Park on Lake Blackshear near Cordele. Activities to do include golf, boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, frisbee golf, bicycling, hiking, and the nearby SAM Shortline Excursion Train. Please remember to renew your GAZA membership for 2017. The fee is $35 and an application may be found on this website by clicking on "Membership Application". 

 

Did you know that, as a GAZA member, you, your child, or your grandchild in college/university can apply for the $1,000 annual Betty Gecoma scholarship? Please check out the Betty Gecoma scholarship page for an application. If you or your child/grandchild is approved, you/he/she can re-apply each year to possibly receive additional funds.
